As an equipment designer and creative mover, Jill has been motivated by a need to incorporate more dynamic and versatile tools into her practice. Recognizing her clients needs for a more comprehensive workout regime, she created FitSprings. This system melds high-intensity low-impact training, dynamic stability, perturbation, agility training, and Pilates-inspired exercises into an engaging, effective, and fun workout experience.
In the studio, Jill transcends the role of a trainer. She is a mentor, motivator, and educator, tailoring workouts to meet the specific needs of her clients, aiding in injury recovery, and ensuring that the journey to strength and fitness is as enjoyable as it is effective.
Away from the studio, Jill lives in San Francisco, where she remains active in the dance community and stays inspired. She is a dedicated volunteer with SaveABunny, a nonprofit rabbit rescue organization, and cares for four rescue bunnies and a rescue cat. Jill’s commitment to the Pilates community is global; she annually visits studios worldwide to engage with other trainers and stay ahead of industry trends.
Its size is perfect for even a small studio, and you can train two people at a time on the FitSprings. The applications for use are endless. I came across a video online of Jill Harris demonstrating exercises on the FitSprings. I was instantly intrigued and wanted to train and get certified on this apparatus. After training on the FitSprings, I fell in love and wanted to have it at my studio. The FitSprings Method allows me to take my Pilates practice further. The resistance provides support for my joints while challenging my muscles and giving me an effective full body workout. I’m a believer in this method and Jill Harris is a creative genius!
