Do you have trouble remembering movement sequences?

👉Start with 2 movements and pair them together.

💪I like to add a little bit of weights to these combinations on the mat. The @toneybands are just enough to challenge your body.

🔑Talk to yourself while you do these. No one will think you are nuts and it helps you remember choreography.
🔑 Repeat 15 times and get on with your life.

So these burn 🔥 like crazy because I have 🚫springs on the reformer which as always means you can do at home with towels or gliders.

👉I began this series with the side lunges on the chair in mind.

🔑Your feet need to be super connected to the carriage or ground to drag the legs towards each other.
🔑The stable side will work crazy hard to help out the moving side.
🔑Be sure to breathe into the deep stretch to the bent side.

👉I did as many as I could which wasn’t a ton! These are intense.

You know what isn’t glamorous? Tweaking your shoulder when you fling off your purse in the car or reach up into a cabinet to grab something.

👉These moves stretch the side of your body 👉Add rotation 
👉Activate your obliques

💡While I know not everyone has access to the Pilates equipment you could sit near a door frame with one foot pressing into the side and grab the door to push it.

The flashing lights in the background aren’t the pilates police arresting me for not doing Pilates.  I was having a party of 1 💃using my @_flexnow Flex Cords and a disco light.

👉I love the Flex Cords especially since I snapped 3 Therabands this week!
👉They come in several lengths and the resistance is perfect...but I digress.

🍎All these lateral ranges equal side plank benefits. 
🔑You don’t need to do crunches and hurt your neck or weight on your wrists for these.

🔑Wrap your cords on a door or ballet bar and always pull at both ends for extra length in your movement.
